The Cross SBA valve fits these John Deere tractor models: 4010, 4020, 4030, 4040, 4050, 4055, 4230, 4240, 4250, 4255, 4320, 4350, 4430, 4440, 4450, 4455, 4520, 4555, 4560, 4630, 4640, 4650, 4755, 4760, 4840, 4850, 4955, and 4960.
Alternate part numbers for this valve: 143799, BA2A1XAG3EA0, SBAF2. The part number stamped on the base of the current casting is --23--1Z0202; however, this is not the valve part number. This is the casting part number, and will be found on other Cross valves that use the same casting body but have different specs.

The images below show the individual items that are included in the 3-function starter joystick kit. The starter kit includes the joystick and lever controls, the control cables, the midmount closed center control valve, and the cable connection hardware. Items that need to be added to complete the installation: power beyond block to access tractor hydraulics, hoses, mounting brackets, couplers, and any needed hydraulic adapters.
